**Our software client is the leader in the digital arena and after substantial investment within the last 12 months they are now looking to triple in size and push towards market dominance.**

As a successful Performance Test Analyst you will have at least 3+ experience of performance testing. You will be a part of our Software Quality team, where your focus will be on identifying the performance and scalability characteristics of product offerings.Working closely with multiple internal and external stakeholders, you will identify service delivery issues and potential bottlenecks with the goal to facilitate optimisation.

**Key tasks as a Performance Test Analyst will include**:

- Working with the test manager define the performance test strategy, set up and maintain the performance test framework
- Gather performance testing requirements and goals
- Analyse root causes of performance issues and provide corrective actions and recommendations for optimisation
- Data profiling, data mining and data validation using SQL queries and stored procedures

**Knowledge and experience required of a Performance Tester are**:

- 5+ years of expertise with performance/scalability testing of a large-scale enterprise-class software product
- Knowledge of enterprise integration software technologies such as web services, message queue, database
- Strong understanding of best practices surrounding the performance/scalability testing of REST APIs
- Experience with UI concurrency and scalability testing
- Excellent understanding of cloud-based software offerings and the unique challenges that poses to performance/scalability testing
- Experience with one or more APM tools preferred (Introscope, Dynatrace, Server and Application Monitor, New Relic)
- Experience with one or more load generation tools (Load Runner, Vugen, Grafana K6, JMeter, Blazemeter)
- At least one programming/scripting language (Java/C/Python; Java Script/Shell scripting/Groovy/PERL)

**You will be rewarded with a generous benefits package including a basic salary of up to £55,000 plus bonus, 25 days holiday, life insurance, 6% pension contribution and private medical cover. This can be a fully remote position if desired, and youcan be based anywhere in the UK. Alternatively, you can have a hybrid or fully office-based role, with an established office in Oxfordshire.**
