**Maintenance Engineer**
**Permanent, Clevedon**
**£35,000**
A British Manufacturing company are looking for a new Maintenance Engineer to join the team. This role will be resolving mechanical and electrical breakdowns, delivering maintenance whilst actively seeking and implementing improvements. You will work acrossa rotating shift pattern and alongside an experienced and supportive team.
**What you’ll be doing**
You will respond to breakdowns and give feedback to production regarding expected downtime and planned corrective action
Continual monitoring of plant and ancillaries to foresee and rectify faults before they become in issue
Liaising with production to solve issues will be a key part of your role
Give advice, training and recommendations to the production team regarding improvements to the process to maximise machine productivity and minimise downtime
You will also liaise with suppliers to procure parts, spares and consumables in a timely manner
**What you will need**
You will need to have experience in an Engineering position
Qualified to NVQ L3 (or equivalent) in either a Mechanical or Electrical discipline
You will also need to be Multi Skilled so having experience in whichever discipline you do not hold a qualification as a minimum
If you hold a qualification in both this is beneficial but not essential
