**Position**: Fill Plant Operative

**Department**: Logistics

**Term of Employment**: Permanent - Full Time

**Wage**: Starting at £10.38 rising to £11:43 upon becoming fully trained (monthly productivity bonus also available after passing 6-month probation period).

**Reporting to**: Fill Plant Supervisor and Fill Plant Manager

Job Role:
The role entails reporting to the Fill Plant Manager and the Fill Plant Supervisor to ensure high levels of efficient business operation.

Core Responsibilities:

- Filling of Cylinders
- Cylinder painting and maintenance
- Yard work including:

- Loading and unloading company and customer vehicles
- Use of Forklift Truck
- Yard Cleaning and maintaining high levels of safe working practices
- Cleaning and maintenance of company vehicles
- Basix Fill Plant maintenance
- Reporting to and assisting the Fill Plant Manager and Supervisor with reasonable requests
- Implementing the company’s Health and Safety policies
- Training given
- Fire Marshall - Training given

Preferred Qualifications
- Forklift Truck Licence

Skills and Experience:

- Fill Plant experience (preferred)
- Depot / Warehouse experience (preferred)
- Manual Handling experience
- Brief Knowledge of health and safety procedures - full training provided
- Problem solving skills
- Confident written and oral communication skills
- Display a proactive and enthusiastic attitude
- Effective worker as part of a team, working toward a shared goal
- Able to work towards deadlines and prioritise own workload effectively
- Able to ask questions, seek guidance and input from others where appropriate

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £10.38-£11.43 per hour

Additional pay:

- Performance bonus
- Yearly bonus

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

COVID-19 considerations:
All Government Guidelines followed in relation to Social Distancing. Temperature testing of all employees prior to commencing shift on daily basis.
All employees provided with full PPE.

**Experience**:

- Fork Lift: 2 years (required)
- Warehouse: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Fork Lift Licence (preferred)
