**Key Responsibilities** of the Product Owner
- Leads and supports on projects within a specific legal technology workstream, to both raise the profile of the team’s objectives firm-wide as well as ensuring it becomes embedded in day to day practice
- Collaborating with multiple senior stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver both strategic and operational legal technology solutions
- Have a specific focus of internally driving the awareness and adoption of legal tech solutions and using that to enhance the overall offering for existing and new clients
- Takes a proactive role in upskilling stakeholders in tech solutions across the business
- Uses analytical skills to report on the team’s tech solutions usage to relevant stakeholders to better understand adoption, adoption gaps as well as barriers to adoption
- Builds excellent relationships within the practice groups, with internal teams to understand their requirements alongside any challenges in order to deliver a legal technology solution that is fit for purpose
- Deploys agile project management methodologies as well as IT best practice to provide an excellent and efficient service to all stakeholders
- Assists with any upgrades, integrations or configurations of existing tech solutions
- Defines, designs, tests and implements new tech solutions that allows lawyers and fee earners to work more efficiently

**Skills & Attributes** of the Product Owner
- Demonstratable experience of working with and delivering technology platforms and products essential, ideally from a law firm or other professional services
- Has a strong technical ability and ability to translate this into an understandable manner for a variety of stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills in a variety of situations, liaising at senior level within the business
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to produce engaging, concise and timely management information and data
- Experience in delivery methodologies like Waterfall and/or Agile and Product Ownership would be desirable
- Experience with business analysis and/or project management would be desirable but not essential
- Experience with legal technology platforms and tools, especially HighQ is advantageous
