Monday to Friday Days Based Role 08:00 to 17:00 (40 hrs per week, with 1hr break daily)
Days based Maintenance Engineer sought for a well renowned manufacturer who are one of the market leaders in the UK. As one of the largest Employers in the area, they offer job security partnered with a successful career as they boast training, developmentand always look to listen to their employees for improvements.
The role would suit maintenance engineers who are multi-skilled. You will be electrical biased with mechanical comprehension. You must have 17th/18th Edition wiring regulations as a minimum.
Working closely with the Maintenance Manager. You will be predominantly responsible for reactive and pre-planned maintenance. Your tasks will include technical audit actions, production machine repairs and improvements, packing machinery maintenance, fabricationof parts, multi-head weigher refurbishing, forklift and warehouse maintenance and engineering support where required. The company are investing heavily on site, and you will work in a newly created role which is instrumental in the restructure and developmentof the engineering department which is currently in the infancy of its transformation.

The role:
- Maintenance on a wide range of machinery
- Both mechanical and electrical maintenance
- Varied work due to investment on site
- Welding - Training can be provided for this
- Ongoing training and development
- Carrying out technical audit actions
- Weekly site checks, carrying out maintenance where required
- Assisting contractors where required
The person:
- Relevant qualifications in Engineering is advantageous
- 17th or 18th Edition wiring regulations - 18th Edition will be updated if not acquired
- Ability to solve problems using a logical thought process and implement solutions to prevent recurrence
- Sound decision making skills
