Hello, I'm Shannon, the Nursery Manager at Ark Foundry Road.

We offer a truly unique, home-from-home environment in a beautiful Swedish-built log cabin, embracing the Hygge approach to early years education—warm, calm, and centred around wellbeing.

With over 12 years of experience in early years, having started my journey as an apprentice, I’m passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences. Together with my dedicated team, we prioritise outdoor learning, providing multiple outdoor spaces where children can explore and connect with nature. From den building and pond dipping to storytelling around the fire pit, our days are full of adventure and discovery.

It’s our collective group of Nurseries that we are happily a part of here at Ark Foundry Road. Storal stands for high quality outcomes for children and are passionate about Early Years. **About the role**:
As a Nursery Practitioner you will be a key part of keep our children safe, loved and inspired to learn. Key activities include:

- Seeking out learning opportunities in everyday routines such as mealtimes & transitions
- Bonding with your children and their families by engaging in meaningful moments

**About you**:

- A true love for child development and care
- Able and willing to work in a team
- Ability to communicate effectively with management, your peers and parents
- High levels of care and empathy that every opportunity can be a learning opportunity
- Knowledge of the EYFS framework

**Must haves**:

- Early Years qualification at Level 2/3
- Experience working with all age groups within Early Years
