**Friday 13:30pm to 20:30pm**

**Job Purpose**:
To work effectively as a Packing Team Member towards completely satisfying customer demand for high quality packaged confectionery. To fully participate in an effective, safe and hygienic team environment whilst meeting the requirements of the Line Leader/Management team.

**Responsibilities**:

- To help achieve line efficiency targets in order to facilitate company competitive advantage.
- To maintain line efficiency by preventing unnecessary stoppages due to lack of raw materials or inefficient machine operation.
- To operate safety in line with stated safety procedures and Health and Safety training.
- To continually wear designated ‘personal protective equipment’ in every production or packing area.
- To operate hygienically in line with stated Technical procedures and Hygiene training and to carry out metal detector checks.
- To facilitate effective screening and measurement of waste sweets and film.
- To satisfy customer demand by understanding and implementing customer specifications every time.
- To ensure accurate information is recorded as requested by the Management team.
- To effectively contribute in project or continuous improvement work.
- To ensure that all processes and plans meet agreed standards.
- To ensure the correct packaging and product is being packed into the correct cases.
- To check the quantity and presentation of the case is to the correct quality standards.
- Highlight any issues that arise to a machine minder/manager.
**Key Knowledge and Skills**:

- Literate and numerate.
- An aptitude to develop new skills.
- Ability to work both as an individual and be a respected team member.
- Ability to understand and communicate in both written and verbal form.
- Relevant Food Hygiene qualification desirable.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
**Salary**:
Grade 1 - £18,100 per annum
