**Bike Courier**

We are recruiting for an E-cargo Delivery Driver roles in London (Acton). There's more to being an Ocado Zoom Rider than simply delivering orders. You will be the face of our growing business for the dozens of diverse customers you meet each day and an integralpart of the Ocado team. Don't worry if you don't have previous experience as a bike courier; you are in the best hands with our award-winning training team. We will provide an electric cargo bike and PPE, so all you need is a good level of physical fitnessand a positive attitude

We understand that you have commitments outside of work so we offer permanent contracts and a shift pattern to follow to make sure you can plan ahead. Whether you're looking for a stable full-time role we have an opportunity to suit you (shift availabilitycan vary based on business needs).

**As a Bike Courier you will need to have**:

- At least provisional driving licence for road test purposes
- Driven individual with mechanical engineering and/or logistics background
- Prior experience in bike mechanics or e-scooter is advantageous
- Flexibility and availability
- Be comfortable with lifting to 26kg

**Details**:

- Salary: £11.05 - £13.81
- Flexible weekly shifts
- Working Hours: 6am - 14pm / 14pm -22pm

Location: Acton, West London, W3 8BG
- 40 hours - 5 shifts a week
- Duration: Ongoing

**Role of a Bike Courier**:
**Productivity -**ensure you deliver agreed productivity and throughout targets.

**Quality** - focus on the customer experience and high-quality standards, adhering to quality checking procedures.

**Process** - ensure you are compliant with all operational processes applicable to the work area to drive efficiency.

**Health & Safety** - ensure that safe systems of work are complied with and operated within your work area including working practices. Report any defective equipment or health and safety issues to the team manager as appropriate.

**Food Safety** - ensure food safety compliance standards are met in your working area.

**Housekeeping & hygiene standards** -maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the vehicle to meet agreed standards, ensuring clean as you go procedures are followed.

**Continuous improvement** - own and problem solve any minor production-related issues as applicable, advising the team manager of the progress of such issues. Make recommendations for future improvements and best practice

**Requirements**
- **Previous experience of multi-drop, preferably on a bicycle or similar vehicle**:
