Senior Engineer - Body Mechanisms

We are looking for an experienced senior engineer specialising in body mechanisms for a fulltime and permanent role based in Gaydon. As a senior engineer, you will be responsible for supporting in the development of complex mechanisms system across the vehiclesplatforms.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead in CAD modelling, able to develop system 3D data across a wide variety of mechanisms based on design surfaces, closure design concepts and other applicable hard points.
- CAD bill of materials management / maintenance
- Support in architecture and concepts layout of the vehicle platforms
- Preparation of detailed drawings to AML drafting standards
- Support of vehicle launch and pre-production builds and vehicle test program
- Aid in alignment of cross functional targets and constraints at programme start to set DVP for component.

**Requirements**:

- NX / TCE Advanced level
- Knowledge of product creation processes
- Experience in integration of vehicle body mechanisms on new vehicle programmes
- PLM experience
- Strong track record of complex mechanism design and development.
- Degree educated or equivalent
- Practical problem-solving methodology
