**Community Focus Support Officer (part-time)**

North West Leicestershire District Council is a busy council, working across our communities to help people and businesses thrive. We’re looking for a Community Focus Support Officer to join our Community Focus Team.

About the role

You will co-ordinate, manage, deliver, and monitor the Council’s community grant funding schemes, supporting local groups and communities to access these and other funding opportunities. You will be a key point of contact for community, voluntary groups, charities and parish or town councils when it comes to pursuing funding opportunities.

You will be an enthusiastic individual able to confidently build rapport, develop relationships, communicate effectively and meet agreed outcomes with a variety of internal and external partners, organisations and residents. You will also be an excellent organiser with great attention to detail.
- 18.125 hrs per week with an annual salary of £15,793 - £17,618pa (Full-time equivalent £31,586 - £35,235pa)
- Agile working scheme with a combination of home and office working
- 124 hours of holiday per year (including bank holidays) increasing to 139 hours after 5 years
- Attractive Local Government Pension Scheme with at least 25% employer’s contribution
