It’s with great pleasure Dobson Welch have been instructed by this market leading clothing supplier (womenswear and menswear) to help them in their search for a quality controller.
Joining a small team based in their East London Warehouse (with some trips needed not the central London office) the Quality controller will work with the garment technical teams to Quality Control for inbound produced product. The purpose will be to review weekly and monthly priorities and plan workflow accordingly and consistently carry out QC inspections on all finished goods delivered into the warehouse. The role of quality controller will be to complete and circulate Quality control approvals and rejections following inspections along with ensuring all goods delivered to the warehouse meet the company’s quality and make standards this includes fit, appearance, packaging and labelling when comparing to approved samples. As Quality controllers you will liaise with cross functional teams to resolve any quality issues and maintain accurate records of all QC issues within the business and rectify ongoing quality concerns and complete audit reports and final inspection.
**MUST HAVES TO BE SHORTLISTED**
We are looking for an experienced Quality controller or garment tech wanting to move to quality control who has worked in a fast-paced UK based high street supplier or high street retailer.
Having knowledge of tailoring product is a massive asset.
First class English communication skills are needed (written and verbal)
Well organised, think on your feet attitude.
Team player but also able to work well unsupervised.
IT literate in Ms Office and numeric
Flexible if needed to work in Central London once a week.
London based and eligible to work in the UK for over 5 years.
