An excellent opportunity for an experienced Production Operator to join this exciting FMCG company.
OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTS
- 2 Shifts available - 4on 4off shift fixed either days OR nights / 6am-6pm OR 6pm-6am
- Competitive Salary - From £10.55 per hour after probation up to £12.66 per hour depending on shift pattern (with opportunity to progress up to an hourly rate of £14.52)
- Sign on bonus - £2,000 (£500 on completion of 3 months probation, £500 after 6 months and £1,000 after 1 year with our client)

THE PRODUCTION OPERATOR
Production Operators ensure that our high-speed production lines run effectively and efficiently, ensuring that problems and faults are rectified quickly and ensure that quality and good manufacturing checks are carried out.
Working as part of a small team, you will be involved in ordering and loading components, line start up checks, change overs and wash downs, controlling parameters using computers to run the line, reading and understanding alarms and problem solving anyissues that arise.
You will be required to work a shift pattern of 12 hours that run from either 6am - 6pm or 6pm to 6am on a 4 on 4 off pattern.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
Will need to have strong experience in a similar Production role from within a manufacturing environment. You will also need to have:
- You must be an enthusiastic team player who can demonstrate excellent problem solving skills and display a positive attitude to learning and adapting to change.
- You must hold the right to work in the UK.
- Previous experience of working within FMCG manufacturing environment
- A good standard of verbal and written English
- Basic understanding of Mathematics and working with computers
