**What you’ll be doing**

You’ll translate and execute the category strategy for a given product range/series to deliver profitable growth and own the delivery of agreed KPIs. Buying OB and Branded ranges, you’ll trade a customer-focused proposition through your team and build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders at a senior level. Throughout, you’ll have a firm focus on the customer and encourage others to do the same.

When you’re not supporting the Senior Buyer and Head of Buying, you’ll work closely with Product design and Global sourcing on cost-effective sourcing routes. You’ll also manage Assistant Buyers and Buying Admin Assistants and look to bring out the best in them.

**Who you are**

You’ll have commercial awareness and buying experience, ideally in a digitally led business, and be keen to be more involved in project management. You should know all about systems and processes in a complex multi-channel environment and have a good grasp of the legal side. Financially astute, agile and happy under pressure, you’ll also be able to identify market opportunities and influence people at all levels. Drive and motivation will be key, of course, and there’s more than enough room for your initiative.
