Acumen Logistics Group is one of the UK’s top 100 logistics companies, providing innovative customer solutions to some of the UK’s most successful companies.

We operate a prestigious long term contract in the West Sussex Area near to Goodwood. This includes operating a major support facility (Warehouse) in Bognor Regis and managing all the movement and delivery within the UK of Finished Vehicle Logistics for a prestigious car manufacturer.

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative to work alongside our existing team of operatives, supervisors and drivers.

In this role you will be responsible for:

- Receipt of car bodies into the holding facility
- Location and storage of car bodies in the facility
- Receipt of finished vehicles into the holding facility
- Location and storage of finished vehicles in the facility
- Pull to line (Picking) finished vehicles JIT for delivery
- Processing inbound, internal and external paperwork
- Car Wash and Battery Charge
- Activity recording and tracking (Inbound / Outbound)
- General Hygiene and Health and Safety
- Maintaining the highest standards in the warehouse operation
- Ensure all systems are up to date and accurate in line with operational moves
- Some driving duties in the event of operational requirement
- Direct client liaison and resolution negotiation when required
- Occasional transporter loading and assisting drivers

Ideally you should be**:Highly motivated and able to demonstrate a strong work ethic. ** Experienced within a warehouse operation.** ** Excellent people skills.

- Able to make quick decisions based on sound understanding of the current status.
- Familiar with automotive mechanical issues.
- Able and willing to work flexible hours.
- You must hold a valid UK driving licence.
