**Administration Clerk**

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Administration Clerk to join our team based at our Wortley, Leeds site.

**Purpose of the role**
- The role of the imports booking clerk is to provide efficient administration for sea imports in the Freight team.

Main duties and responsibilities

**What you do**:

- Accurately inputting data into business systems
- Use pre-prepared documents to create pre-alerts for shipment files
- Efficiently preparing Shipment files for the Import operations team
- Proactively preparing and dealing with commercial documentation
- Undertaking administrative tasks to support the Freight department in meeting deadlines for our customers

Person specification

**Must have**:

- IT skills (Microsoft Office)
- A good level of literacy and numeracy
- A flexible approach to work and the ability to work with changing demands (including shift patterns)
- Experience of administration
- Basic understanding of route planning/optimisation

**Shift pattern**:

- Monday to Friday between 08:00-16:30hrs

**Salary**: £20,319.00 per year
