**OVERVIEW**

The Harnham Data Science team is currently working with an exciting tech company based in central London who are looking to add a Senior Data Scientist to their award-winning team. You will be working with large-scale data sets, utilising your knowledgeof machine learning in order to solve complex business problems.

Ultimately your work will provide essential insight and impact the company's bottom line.

**THE ROLE - Senior Data Scientist**

On a daily basis you will be:

- Exploring/ questioning huge datasets, formulating hypotheses, and using your statistical knowledge to generate insights
- Using a variety of the latest tools and technologies for exploratory analysis (e.g. Spark)
- Mentoring/managing x2 Ph.D. level Data Scientists
- Reporting to the board, delivering insight, and being the voice of change within the company

**SKILLS AND EXPERTISE - Senior Data Scientist**

Extensive experience with R or Python

An MSc or Ph.D. in a quantitative discipline

Expert knowledge of SQL

Knowledge of Spark/Hadoop is desirable
