**Description**
The Senior Travel Executive is a member of the Operations Team of BII and, with the support of a small team, provides guidance and oversight of the travel activities within BII to ensure:
- Effective use of BII's Travel Management Companies (TMC's).
- Service delivery by the TMC's in accordance with agreed standards.
- The achievement of efficiency and cost improvements (£ and carbon) through adoption of best booking practices and processes.
The Senior Travel Executive works closely with the Security Team (part of the IT and Security Team). BII's travel security experts are responsible for providing guidance and managing policy for travelers in high risk areas; the Travel Senior Executive isresponsible for ensuring that the travel security experts are engaged as soon as possible.
**Profile**
- Experience working in travel or travel-related field. Ideally with both TMC and booking experience.
- Comfortable organising and reporting data (Excel skills essential, Power BI familiarity would be useful).
- Out-going, engaging and enthusiastic approach to work.
- Organised, good at record-keeping, responsive, attention to detail and cost-conscious.
- Capable of coaching and mentoring others, taking time to develop and support colleagues.
- Good influencing and persuading skills, with ability to obtain agreement and cooperation in a 'win-win' fashion.
- Good inter-personal skills and must be approachable for assistance and able to provide guidance to users.
