**About us**

Our purpose is simple, to save lives at sea. Since the 19th century, our crews have been risking their lives to save those who are in danger of drowning. We’re looking for a Retail Lead to join our Engagement Team. The team supports the RNLI through inspiring and motivating supporters and volunteers, in order to secure the vital income that powers our lifesaving delivery.

**Your Role**

As a Retail Lead, you will be tasked with focus on the following areas:

- Ensure that the Ireland and Scotland regions have the right level of knowledge, skills and capability to deliver the retail activities and income outlined in the regional engagement plans.
- Support volunteers to deliver the retail activity.
- Identify and lead retail development opportunities.
- Support strategic planning of all retail activities including capital projects.

**About You**

You’ll be highly motivated who enjoys tackling challenging goals and targets and is creative in finding solutions to problems. A natural leader, you will be able to inspire and influence at all levels to drive and embed changes and improvements, keeping the supporter, volunteer and customer experience front of mind.

This role, whilst 37 hours per week, will require flexible working across all 7 days of the week. Whilst core days will be defined, it is expected that there will be a degree of weekend and evening working required. Extensive travel between Ireland and Scotland will be required. This role will be home based but there is an option to be based at an RNLI site. Location should be within easy access to airports or ferries for travel between Scotland and Ireland.

This post requires a valid driving licence.
