**About The Role**

The Selwood Team in Chandlers Ford have a great opportunity to train as a LGV Hi-ab Driver whilst supporting in our our branch yard, assisting with the day to day operations, loading and unloading of our lorries and keeping our yard secure and organised.

No day is the same at Selwood, our lorries will be delivering pumps and equipment to many different types of customer sites from construction sites, quarries and sewage works supporting our teams installing the kit on site come rain or shine.

The branch yard is a busy hub of activity with orders being prepared, Pumps returning off hire, Pumps being cleaned and serviced and back out on hire. This role plays an integral part to our branch operations and will be involved in all of these activities.

Training for the LGV Driver will take place during the first year of joining with a mixture of in house training and practical courses to gain the required certification.

This role requires a committed, confident self starter who has a genuine interest in training to be a Driver whilst carrying out tasks within our yard.

**Qualifications & Skills required**:

- Forklift Licence (Counterbalance)
- Previous work history within a similar environment
- Good communicator with a can do attitude.
- Reliability is essential for this position.
- Physically fit due to the nature of the work within this role.
- Driving Licence
