**Job Title**: Global Head of Financial Reporting and Controls

**Location**: Peterborough, UK

Due to internal moves within our ABF group, we are looking for a Global Head of Financial Reporting and Controls to join our AB Vista Finance team.

Your key focus will be directly and through a team of 6 direct reports within our regions and 10 indirect reports manage and leas all accounting control, reporting foreign currency risk management and audit activities across our global accounting teams. Your team spans UK, USA, Europe, South America and India so you will need to have experience with managing remote international teams and multi-currency experience.

Some responsibilities will include:

- Review and implementing improved processes, systems and controls to achieve the highest standards in reporting and compliance where necessary
- Ensure the financial control environment is robust, with control design being fit for purpose and operationally effective.
- Management of foreign currency risk and the hedging of non-functional currency cashflows
- Own and manage the relationships with external and internal auditors; ensuring that issues raised are closed down in a timely and effective manner.
- Month end close responsibilities including consolidation and payroll postings.
- Ensure Transfer Pricing policies between affiliated group companies is compliant and supporting documentation is maintained and up to date
- Have regular interactions with ABF Tax, Treasury and Accounting teams and producing reports that meet ABF requirements including cashflow reporting

Our business is growing and with the nature of how global we are this brings a layer of complexity with our products being international. We are looking for someone who can work in multicurrency environment with complex financials ensuring they are reported accurately at all times while dealing with new products, moving into new market and business M&A Activity contributing to activities as part of our senior team.

To be successful in this role some of the things we are looking for:

- Qualified Finance professional ideally ACA, ACCA or similar
- Expert knowledge of financial control systems and procedures
- Strong technical accounting and tax knowledge
- Experience with multi-currency, international operating businesses
- Previous experience/ability to manage a large team remotely and internationally

**Location**

We are flexible on location however looking for someone who can come into our Peterborough office of a minimum of 2 days a week if based within the UK this is to support the UK teams however this role does have international reports therefore on occasion international travel may be required.
