**Overview**:
Due to growth across our portfolio of products and services, we have several opportunities for IM&T Project Managers at various levels in the UK Region to support a number of key programmes including Hawk, Typhoon & the 6th Generation fighter Tempest. Asan IM&T Project Manager within the Air Sector, you will have the opportunity to get involved in a broad range of business-critical programmes & services presenting you with an ideal opportunity to further your career.

Air IM&T is ideally placed to influence current and future product delivery whilst driving business transformation, implementing new processes and where appropriate harnessing emergent technologies to maximise the success of the programmes we support. Ifsuccessful, you will play a digital role in delivering essential expertise related to core IM&T activities supporting the programmes and services using recognised methodologies and deliver to time, cost, and quality.

These roles present a unique opportunity to get on-board and be part of the next chapter of IM&T within the Air Sector giving you key exposure to some of the globes biggest Air Sector Defence programmes.

**Responsibilities**:

- To liaise with programme management, customer, IT Suppliers, and project teams
- To manage the agreement of solution to a given business need, and the optimisation of solution cost vs benefit
- To effectively exploit the Group IM&T partners and suppliers, and related BAE Systems IT Catalogue and/or services
- To ensure project is compliant with IM&T Policies
- To determine the optimal IT project management methodologies to exploit based on the context of the project
- To plan, manage and monitor the production of the required deliverables throughout the project
- To manage project risks, including the development of contingency plans

**Desirable Criteria**:

- Practical experience of delivery per your chosen area working in a similar role
- Experience/awareness of relevant industry standard methodologies such as Agile.
- Demonstrable track record of delivery within a diverse IM&T environment working in an IT Function.

**Successful applicants will undergo SC vetting.
