**Sunday - Thursday, Nights, 10pm - 6am**

I’m currently recruiting for an experienced Transport Controller to join a leading blue-chip Pharmaceutical 3PL distribution business.

They are seeking a Transport Controller to support the current transport operation in the management of drivers, fleet and operational compliance.
- Previous experience within a transport coordinator role or similar administration position
- Experience of working within a busy, fats paced transport office (desirable)
- Knowledge of driver time regulations (desirable)
- A good understanding of driver compliance across a fleet of Artics
- Experience using Transport Management Systems
- A high attention to detail is essential
- Excellent administration skills with strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, ability to multitask and prioritise workload
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
- Competent decision making

**Duties and Responsibilities;**
- Conducting driver briefs & de-briefs
- Supervising and managing driver workloads
- Monitoring driver performance
- Provide position and constructive feedback to drivers
- Keep all customers informed of all failed services or significant delays
- Provide the communication link between customers and drivers
- Ensure drivers have the correct paperwork and equipment to carry out their role
- Liaise with drivers and manage WTD / DTD
- Supervising and managing driver workloads
- Report any incidents / near misses as soon as they occur and ensure the relevant paperwork is completed.
- Ensuring your routes are numbered correctly and all jobs are sequenced.
- Managing your driver’s daily activities in line with the Working Time Directive and Driving hours.
- Ensuring every customer receives excellent customer service.
- Investigating failed services and looking into ways to resolve site issues.
