**The position**

Van Oord Offshore Wind UK (MPI Offshore) is looking to expand due to the increased demand for offshore wind project work, both in terms of construction and operational maintenance. As a result, the Company is planning to considerably increase the number of people over the next few years. We are seeking to recruit a Project Controller to become part the financial organisation who support the financial (project) control of complex and large-scale projects - based at our office in Stokesley, Middlesbrough

**Your responsibilities**

In the role of Project Controller you will work with senior Project Controllers to support the finance and control aspects of complex offshore wind projects, which includes the following activities:
Collating financial and management reports according to Van Oord’s financial guidelines

Monitoring and reporting on project progress and managing day-to-day accounting activities

Supporting with audits of the projects and helping the preparation of cash flow and other financial forecasts

Working with the senior Project Controllers to support the Project Managers and their teams

Learning from and covering for other Project Controllers to build experience and to progress into a more senior role

**Job requirements**

As a Project Controller you must be highly numerate with strong analytical skills and have experience of dealing with complex projects. You should also have good communication skills, the ability to work as part of a team and a flexible approach, together with:
**Essential**

Degree in Business Economics, Business Administration or equivalent

Experience of working in a project delivery environment with a good understanding of accounting and controls

Willing to travel (inter)nationally

**Desirable**

Experience in the Maritime and/or Civil sector is an advantage
