Orchard House Care Home is a family-owned care home located in Scarborough, North Yorkshire that specialises respite care and long-term care.

As the day care hub flourished and we got to know our visitors’ families and carers, one thing became abundantly clear: there was a lack of good quality respite care available locally, and the people we were supporting, and their families needed more than just a few hours’ respite per week. Subsequently in 2019, we proudly opened our six-bed residential home. Now at Orchard House, we can truly support people through a care journey that meets their needs for respite care and long-term care.

At Orchard House, we pride ourselves on our person-centred approach to care.

We are registered with the Care Quality Commission as a residential care home for younger adults, people aged over 65, and for dementia care.

**The Role**

**2 x 24 hours per week contracts available**

You'll provide direct support to an individual who may have a profound learning disability, epilepsy, partially sighted or deal with individuals who have mobility and physical health needs and requires the understanding of how to use a hoist. Be happy to encourage them to take part in activities and learn new skills.

You'll enable individuals to participate in a wide range of therapeutic and social activities.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £12.21 per hour
