We are recruiting for an Infrastructure Engineer to join our team providing wide-ranging support of infrastructure technologies. You will be part of an Infrastructure team providing both BAU and Project support to our clients. Working in a SLA driven environmentto deliver high levels of customer service to our client.

**What you will be doing**:
Monitor and execute calls entering the Infrastructure Support queues in accordance with contractual SLAs

Carry out Incident Management on assigned tickets.

Provide 2nd/3rd Line Support to the client on Infrastructure Incidents & Requests

Undertake hardware replacement in a secured Data Centre environment

Execute tasks to support Maintenance and Lifecycle activities - including Patching of services

Represent Sopra Steria in various Infrastructure projects with the client

Document common process & practice, including process flow diagrams, process and procedures around identified Service Improvements, maintaining Knowledge Base

Provide SME support to Problem Management and proactively work to identify and resolve problems.

Support and mentor new starters in various Infrastructure technologies

**What you’ll bring**:
Knowledge of Storage Technologies - NetApp, HP 3Par preferable

Knowledge of MS Windows Servers and MS Exchange Servers

Willing to work out of hours and attend remote sites

Experience Knowledge of VMWare and experience working in virtualised environments

Proven experience with MS Active Directory at Enterprise/Multi Forest scale

Experience with Storage & Backup Technologies - Netapp, Netbackup, Dataprotector, Tape technologies & mgmt.

**It would be great if you had**:
Experience of PowerShell Scripting

Forefront Identity Management

Unix and Linux

ITIL Qualified
