We are on the hunt for an exceptional Operations Director to join the Senior Management Team, in a business-critical role, at this world class, PE backed manufacturing company. With a turnover of c£10M, the company serves a diverse and global market.

You will be based fully on-site in their contemporary and pleasant facilities, working side-by-side with your team. In conjunction with the Managing Director and CEO, you will develop and drive the Manufacturing, Technical and Supply Chain functions to achievecompany objectives, whilst working closely with other Board members to develop and continually review company strategy.

The company has expanded rapidly, particularly since 1990, both through generic growth and strategic acquisition, and we are looking for a real people person who is keen to make a difference whilst the business continues to grow. You will lead, mentor, coachand develop the Operations Team, enabling a positive culture of continuous improvement.

**Key Responsibilities Overview**:

- Implementation of company processes and KPIs
- Health and safety policy and practices overhaul
- Review of EBITDA performance across the group
- On time in full customer delivery performance
- Optimisation and utilisation of the production system and equipment
- Undertake ad hoc projects to identify and drive out excess costs within the business
- Stock turns and inventory levels

**The Successful Applicant**

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced manufacturing / production / operations senior manager. You will have previous experience of managing teams within a complex, fast paced, end-to-end operation and have the following skills / attributes:

- Minimum HND or equivalent in Business & Engineering.
- 5+ years in a similar role
- Competent in Business Financials
- Experienced working within fast paced environment with hands on approach
- Engineering, Operations and Process Implementation experience
- Strong internal and external stakeholder management skills
- A proactive, self-starter who is consultative and adaptable
- Proven success at Operations Management level within a Manufacturing operation
- Demonstrable success stories relating to CI and LEAN implementation
- Demonstrable success of managing, coaching and leading professionals within manufacturing
- Strong organisation and time management skills
- Vision, strategy and intelligence.
- Hugely driven with ambition.
- Gaining commitment, able to influence and motivate others
- It is likely that you have a 'blue-chip' manufacturing background.
