Independent family-run boutique style embroidery studio is seeking a skilled and passionate Machine Embroidery Operator to join our dynamic team. As a key player in our production department, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our state-of-the-art, yet, very user-friendly embroidery machines, packaging products, and coordinating shipments ensuring the highest quality output for all of the orders. Previous experience is highly desirable but not essential, all training will be provided.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to grow your skills and knowledge of embroidery techniques, as well as develop your understanding of different garments and fashion decoration techniques. You will work closely with our production team, sharing insights and collaborating on ways to improve efficiency and quality. This role is unique because it offers the chance to contribute to the creation of high-quality fashion products that bring joy and comfort to our customers. Your work will be appreciated by a wide audience, and you will have the satisfaction of seeing your creations being enjoyed by customers around the world. Salary rate is dependant on previous experience. Fast progression opportunities within the company.

All training will be provided, no previous experience necessary.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate embroidery machines in accordance with safety regulations.
- Set up and align the machine for specific designs.
- Load and position garments correctly.
- Monitor stitching, tension, and thread color.
- Inspect products for quality control and report defects.
- Pick, pack, and ship customer orders accurately.
- Maintain a clean work area and change needles.
- Troubleshoot technical issues during production.
- Collaborate with the design team to reproduce accurate designs on garments.

To enjoy this role, you will need to posses:

- Experience in embroidery equipment operation preferred, but not mandatory
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity required
- Accurate interpretation of instructions and designs
- Strong attention to detail and precision in repetitive tasks
- Independent work management with high quality and productivity
- Adaptability and flexibility in workflow adjustments
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area
- Thorough quality checks for finished products
- Effective verbal and written communication skills

**Own transport recommended as only limited public transport nearby.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 40 per week

**Salary**: £8.50-£12.90 per hour
