We operate a state-of-the-art facility that uses advanced equipment and processes to dismantle vehicles safely and efficiently, supporting the resale of quality parts.

As a **Warehouse Operative**, you’ll be responsible for the accurate handling, storage, and dispatch of automotive parts within our warehouse. You’ll work closely with the Warehouse Manager and other team members to ensure all warehouse operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently.

**Key Areas of Responsibility**
- Picking, packing, and processing parts ready for dispatch or collection, ensuring accuracy and care at all stages
- Assisting with the receipt, unloading, and safe storage of parts and materials within the warehouse
- Maintaining clean, well-organised, and clearly labelled storage areas to ensure efficient workflows
- Accurately scanning, logging, and updating part movements using the company’s CRM and stock systems
- Supporting the Packaging & Shipping Supervisor in preparing items for delivery, including wrapping, labelling, and quality checking
- Ensuring that fragile, heavy, or hazardous parts are handled safely and according to company protocols
- Reporting damaged, misplaced, or incorrectly stored items to the Warehouse Manager promptly
- Assisting with regular stocktakes, inventory counts, and warehouse audits as directed
- Operating manual handling equipment such as pallet trucks and forklifts (if certified)
- Adhering to all health & safety procedures, warehouse policies, and PPE requirements always
- Flexibly supporting other areas of the warehouse as needed during busy periods or staff absence

**Performance Evaluation**

Performance assessments are carried out at regular intervals. Success in the role will be evaluated based on but not limited to:

- Punctuality and timekeeping
- Accuracy in part handling, labelling, and location allocation
- Cleanliness and organisation of work areas
- Minimisation of damage to parts
- Compliance with health & safety procedures
- Teamwork and communication
- Productivity and efficiency in daily tasks

**Assets Used**

You will be trained to use and be responsible for the safe operation of equipment, including but not limited to:

- Forklifts (if licensed)
- Pallet trucks/ Racking Steps
- Barcode scanners / Tablets or Phones
- Workstations/computers (for inventory updates)

**Working Relationships**

You will report to and work closely with:

- Warehouse Manager
- Parts Preparation Team
- Packaging & Shipping Team
- Parts Manager

**Training and Development**

Ongoing internal training will be provided to improve product knowledge, system use, and health & safety awareness. External training (e.g., forklift certification) may also be offered as needed.

**Limits of Authority**

Warehouse Operatives are not authorised to make purchasing decisions, change rota schedules, or make staffing-related decisions. All queries should be directed to the Warehouse Manager.

**Waste Limitation**

As part of your role, you are expected to minimise waste and inefficiency. Examples include:

- Ensuring parts are placed in correct locations to reduce time loss
- Handling parts carefully to avoid unnecessary damage
- Keeping work areas clean and tidy
- Disposing of waste correctly (e.g. food, packaging)

**Flexibility**

Reclamet values a flexible, team-oriented approach. You may be asked to temporarily assist in other areas of the business during busy periods to support overall operations and company growth.

**Requirements for the role**
- Proven experience as a warehouse supervisor or similar role.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team of employees.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively with employees, managers, and customers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure efficient and effective warehouse operations.
- Familiarity with warehouse management software and inventory tracking systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment and perform tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving heavy objects.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to warehouse operations.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed
