**Description**

A position has arisen for a Labourer at our Stoneywood facility on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Subsea Services Operations Manager, this role is responsible for moving components, general labouring and housekeeping across the Subsea Services plant where required.

**The main duties and responsibilities include**:

- Safe movement of materials
- Safe and timely movement of work in progress and completed work in and around the site
- Forklift driving
- Steam cleaning of materials
- Housekeeping duties - inside and outside. Cleaning, painting, swarf removal, and skip emptying
- Driving duties using various vehicles as required
- Protection and preservation of semi-finished and finished components
- Maintaining fluid bund area
- Look after and ensure all fixtures are correctly palletised and stored in the correct location in a safe manner
- Assist in maintaining areas for 6S objectives.

**Experience / Skills Required**:

- Valid forklift licence
- Valid UK driving licence
- Experience in similar role
- Health and Safety conscious
- Good attention to detail
- Works well as part of a team
- Good communication skills

**Experience / Skills Preferred**:

- Forklifts: carries out effective observations and recognize unsafe practice and behaviour
- Experience in the Manufacturing industry
- Mechanical or trade background
