Teaching Assistant - Lambeth

We are looking for a dedicated, full-time Teaching Assistant to join a mainstream Secondary school in Lambeth If you’re enthusiastic about education and keen to support students in their learning, this could be the ideal opportunity for you.

About the Role:
As an Teaching Assistant, you will support students aged 11-16, including those with additional learning needs. Working alongside experienced teachers, you will help create an engaging and supportive learning environment. You will provide one-on-one and small group support, assist with classroom activities, and collaborate with staff to ensure each student reaches their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in providing academic support to students aged 11-16, particularly those who need extra help.
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to reinforce learning and build student confidence.
- Help students stay engaged during lessons and assist with their overall progress.
- Foster positive, inclusive relationships with students, creating a motivating learning environment.
- Work closely with teachers and other support staff to meet the individual needs of students.
- Support the school’s commitment to the overall development of students in and outside of the classroom.

This position is perfect for someone who is enthusiastic about supporting children in education, even if you don’t have formal qualifications or experience. A passion for learning, empathy, and a positive attitude are the key qualities we are looking for.
