Mobile Patrol Officer

**Overall Purpose of the Job**

To perform such security duties as directed by Intacept Security to include mobile patrol services, and carry out key holding and emergency response to client sites. To provide a processional security presence at client sites as assigned and instructed.

Be pro-active in looking to improve existing documentation and services.

**Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities**:

- Report to the operations supervisor on a daily basis in connection with operational matters as referred to within Assignment instructions and other ad hoc duties.
- Communicate and provide information by relevant methods internally and externally to assist and enable organisational operations and effective service.
- Communicate and liaise verbally between clients, suppliers, visitors, enquirers and relevant staff and interpret and respond clearly and effectively to spoken requests over the telephone or in person, and to verbal or written instructions.
- Adhere to company procedures and policies relating to health and safety, quality management and current legislation as well as handbooks relating to the proper use and care of equipment, (PPE and vehicle maintenance), and materials for which the role has responsibility.
- Comply, understand and appraise yourself with current assignment instructions (mobile, key holding and static), relevant to the client sites to which you are allocated along with mobile patrol round lists.
- Make recommendations for updates to Operations Procedures in accordance with British Standards, ISO and ACS. Be aware of what actions are required for Operations within written Procedures.
- Keep information and keys secure and abide with confidentiality at all times.
- Perform duties as specified within the Assignment Instructions and other Company documentation in an effective, professional and courteous manner ensuring high standards are maintained along with accurate records of information.
- Maintain regular consistent and professional attendance, punctuality and personal appearance by being properly attired and equipped in accordance with your role and the Company standards / instructions.
- Respond to incidents / alarm activations / CCTV activations /call outs and any other duties in a timely and professional manner.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, supervisors, managers and clients - be polite and courteous at all times.
- Utilise a variety of issued equipment as applicable - mobile telephone, torch, and any other equipment provided to carry out specific tasks as part of the role.
- Use personal judgement and initiative to develop effective and constructive solutions to challenges and obstacles. Pursue personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for the effective performance of the role.
- Ensure that vehicles are kept clean and tidy at all times and contents are secure. Individual fuel cards are issued for purchasing fuel for work vehicles only. These are not for personal use.

**Requirements for the role:

- A valid SIA Licence
- A full valid UK Driving Licence (Manual)
- Must be computer literate
- Good written and communication skills
- Organised with the ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team to support colleagues

Pay: £12.40 per hour

Expected hours: 42 per week
