We are a multi-award-winning housebuilder that operates nationally across 14 existing regions and 2 timber frame factories. Right now, as part of our continued growth plans, our Yorkshire region are seeking to recruit an Assistant Buyer to join our expanding Commercial Team based out of our offices in Leeds.

As an Assistant Buyer, you will support the Buyer to negotiate with suppliers, scheduling, and requisitioning site materials on a daily basis to support the wider Commercial team. This may include analysing variation orders and providing material costs to the Surveying team, checking invoices against orders queried by the Accounts department, and supporting the wider Buying team with placing material orders

Ideally, you will have done a similar role with another housebuilder or worked within a builder’s merchants. You will have a high level of mathematical ability and problem-solving skills, with a methodical and logical approach to your work as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills. This is a great opportunity to start your career within Buying, or alternatively for an Assistant Buyer who is looking for a new challenge.
