**Working at the heart of the agency, you’ll provide strategic direction to some of our most exciting challenges.**:
You will be a key part of the strategy team on our key clients, supporting them to develop and achieve their overarching long-term strategy and vision by unearthing compelling insights that drive campaign and brand strategy direction.
You will work hand-in-hand with our creative, performance and comms teams to challenge and input into briefs at an integrated level.
Inputting into our strategic response to pitches and proposals in collaboration with our existing senior strategist - and be comfortable presenting your thinking internally.
Playing a key role in building the profile of the strategy department through thought leadership, product development and proposition refinement.
**Responsibilities**:
**Client**:
- Together with our senior strategist, support the day-to-day strategy for our key clients - supporting the client on the development of key campaigns and brand strategy.
- To work on, manage and support ad-hoc strategy projects spanning brand and business strategy for our clients.
- Plan, structure and facilitate client workshops and presentations together with our current senior strategist.
**New Business**:
- Support on delivering strategic input into key marketing strategy briefs with an objective of writing a good communication brief and a clear strategy for the agency team upon which to build.
- Working with our current senior strategist to ensure that behind every pitch there is a clear and sound strategic approach.
- Winning presentations - the ability to compellingly and confidently articulate complex strategic thinking in a powerful way that engages and excites clients.
**Practice Development**:
- Proactive generation of strategy-led thought leadership that cements our place as a leading retail agency. This may include submitting blog posts to industry press, writing pieces for our website, preparing and hosting webinars or attending / speaking at talks on key topics - but we’d love to see what else you have in mind.
- Keep colleagues across creative and client services abreast of the latest developments in advertising, media, cultural trends, behavioural sciences etc.
- Managing our data tools and subscriptions and organising agency refreshers where necessary in conjunction with our senior strategist.

**Skills**
- Have between 2-4 years’ experience in a strategy role, ideally with experience in one of; marketing strategy, brand strategy, management consultancy, or market research.
- Have a strong creative and academic mind, be comfortable with ambiguity and able to generate innovative ideas, think outside the box and deliver inspiring insights and recommendations to clients.
- A confident communicator (both writing and presenting) - comfortable presenting to clients across all levels as well as internally with a strong and compelling presentation style.
- Excellent data and analytical skills - comfort analysing numbers to pull out implications and insights and the ability to distil these insights into compelling, engaging presentations or PPT decks.
- Brave thinker, and not afraid to constructively challenge / bring new ideas to the table.
- Commercially astute - you enjoy managing your own workload and aren’t afraid to take responsibility for getting work done in a timely manner.
- Driven, proactive, upbeat - a team player willing to roll their sleeves up.
- Curious, ambitious and keen to learn.
