**About Transworld**

Transworld is a commercial publisher of fiction and non-fiction titles with a varied list, ranging from Alison Hammond to Sara Davies, Lee Child to Sophie Kinsella. Under our Doubleday imprint we publish award-winning authors including Kate Atkinson, John Boyne, and Markus Zusak. You might be working on a celebrity memoir one day, and a debut crime thriller the next.

**The Opportunity**

This role involves liaising with editors, authors, and agents - getting to know their stories better than anyone. You’ll work to launch books into the bestseller lists, by understanding the audience for each book and then producing eye-catching promotional activity that drives intrigue and word of mouth both on
- and off-line.

Combining your creativity with strategic thinking and commercial awareness, you’ll manage campaigns across a range of media; planning, briefing, and delivering content as well as reacting to new opportunities and shifts in the market.

Using your expert knowledge of a book or author, you’ll help our sales team bring retailers on board, so they champion the book from the word go. You’ll also talk to external partners, exploring opportunities to promote our stories together.

**What you’ll bring**

You’ll have experience of running your own campaigns, bringing bags of enthusiasm and ideas to each one, using your initiative to make the most of your budget, however big or small.

You’ll have proven experience of managing social media, not just understanding how it works, but what makes people sit up, listen, and engage.

It goes without saying you’ll have a passion for books, but you certainly don’t need to have worked in publishing before.

**What you can expect from us**:
**Salary**: Up to £27,000 depending on how your skills and experience algin with the role, plus bonus and benefits
