As part of our expansion, Curaleaf are looking for a **Dispenser** to join our Pharmacy.

**Position**:
Working from our main office in Sunderland, this is a high-volume pharmacy role like no other. You will be labelling, handling, and dispensing prescriptions for controlled drugs, ensuring all regulations and Standard Operating Procedures are followed. You will not be in a direct customer-facing environment, so this role would be suited to someone who holds enough of a passion for pharmacy work to not require the external drive of in-house customers.
Duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Helping manage the Controlled Drugs registers and complying with relevant legal controls
- Building professional relationships, both internally and externally
- Stock control
- Maintaining dispensary cleanliness and standards
- Efficiently organising workload and dispensary layout to ensure efficiency
- Aiding in completion and organisation of pharmacy paperwork
**Requirements**:
**About You**:
To be successful in this role, you must have strong numeracy, literacy, and IT skills in order to navigate our bespoke software. As Curaleaf is a growing, innovative company, you must be pro-active and keen on self-development. It is essential you:
- Willing and eager to learn about medicinal cannabis products
- Have a great eye for detail
- Maintain a calm demeanour, even under pressure and with tight deadlines
- Are adaptable with excellent problem-solving skills
- Can self-motivate while working autonomously
- Appreciate the value in working as part of a wider team
Although the following are not essential, for this role it would be great to have:
- Experience working in a fast-paced Pharmacy
- NVQ Level 2 Pharmacy Dispenser qualification
- DBS certificate on the update service (will be provided by company if not in place)
