Service Care are currently recruiting Families Practitioners for a new Emotional Mental Health and Wellbeing Service in Coventry.

The service offer early intervention health and wellbeing services for children and young people using a wide range of engagement methods across community and educational settings.

The service supports CYP, their families and/or carers providing extra capacity for Early Intervention support within School and College settings within 3 areas:

- Providing evidence-based interventions for mild to moderate mental health and emotional wellbeing issues
- Support designated senior mental health leads in each setting
- Provide timely advice to school and college staff and parents as required

**Person Specification**

The successful applicant will hold a relevant qualification in Youth Work, Children and Families, Mental Health or equivalent, such as NVQ Level 4 in children, young people and families, social care or mental health.

The applicant will be responsible for supporting parents/carers with low level emotional health needs which are directly impacting on their child's wellbeing. You will hold a caseload and deliver family-led face to face interventions, working closely withthe skill mix team who will be supporting the child / young person to ensure a triangulated approach to care (i.e. child, parent/carer, school staff).

**Contract and Pay**

There are temporary and permanent positions available.

**Permanent Salary**: £22,600 - £26,057 pa

**Temporary**: £13.00-£18.00ph (Ltd)
