Transport Supervisor

Due to a period of exceptional growth, we are recruiting an experienced Transport Supervisor to join our expanding team in Leeds. **Working a 4 on 4 off, 05:30 - 17:30 shift pattern. 42.5 hrs per week**

**What you will be doing.**
- Dealing with driver’s and customer queries.
- Manage driver rota and shift patterns.
- Monitor drivers on routes to ensure all customers ETAs are met.
- Monitor drivers whilst on route to ensure Igloo compliance is met.
- Carry out Investigations and disciplinary's within the workplace.
- Supervising the driving and Transport office staff at the depot
- Check vehicles on the driver's return for defects or damage.
- Ensure drivers carry out Igloo duties, i.e. RHA checks, Scale fusion and Verilocation.
- Check drivers are in full Igloo uniform/Safety footwear.
- Daily checks on vehicle temperatures to ensure all are running within Igloo guidelines

**What we are looking for.**
- Previous experience working in a transport environment - **Essential**
- Extensive knowledge of Working Time Regulations and Drivers Hours legislation - **Essential**
- Strong geographical knowledge of the UK - **Essential**
- Ability to work under pressure with an ever-changing workload
- **Essential**
- Proficiency in MS packages and Transport/Logistics Software.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the business.
- Experience dealing with investigation and disciplinaries and conflict resolution.
- Self-starter with an analytical approach.
- Must be eligible to work in the UK without restrictions.
