We are now recruiting for a **Sous Chef** to join the kitchen team at our stunning country pub, The Greyhound in Ashley.

**About the role**:
Leading the kitchen team in the Head Chef’s absence, our **Sous Chef** will be also be responsible for menu development, stock management and maintaining a safe and compliant kitchen. Providing guidance to junior kitchen staff members you willensure that high standards and attention to detail are maintained, continuously motivating the team to make sure that fresh quality food is presented each time. The **Sous Chef **plays an integral role in training and development junior team members.

Ideally, we are looking for a **Sous Chef** who has experience working within a similar position and can truly demonstrate that they have the drive and ambition to take on this challenge. You will be encouraged from the start to show your creativeideas whilst making sure that the fresh daily specials become a positive taking point with locals and tourists alike.

**Where you will be working**:
The Greyhound is located in the beautiful country side of the affluent suburb, Ashley. It is one of the last traditional pubs standing, with real fires for winter and a superb beer garden in the summer months. A children and dog friendly haven, this is perfectfor any guest.
