**ROLE**: Warehouse Team Leader
**HOURS**: Afternoon Shift - Monday - Friday 14:00 - 22:00 (Permanent)
**SALARY**: £33, 280pa

**WHAT OUR TEAM LEADERS DO**:

- Ensure that expectations are understood, achieved, and improved on by the team
- Continuously look for ways to make improvements, discuss with Shift Manager and implement
- KPI data is captured and reported in the agreed format/timescales to the Shift Manager or others as required
- Motivated and respectful teams that deliver on KPIs and expected behaviours, being led by example
- Define and set goals for the team, monitor performance of the team and provide regular feedback consistently to all team members
- Rotation of teams to develop a full understanding of the multiskilled context of the warehouse and results required
- HR process and procedure is followed consistently according to Company policy
- Consistency of approach across all teams, ensuring they adhere to all Company SHEQ standards (eg waste management)
- Actively seeks out potential/actual SHEQ issues and takes effective action to reduce/eliminate risks
- Housekeeping standards are maintained by the team and issues are identified and corrected within an agreed timescale
- Manual handling and MHE assessments are all completed in full as required.
- Risk assessments, SOPs and safe systems of work are followed at all times.
- Ensure team compliance training is up to date and recorded as required (H&S, MHE, conduct related)

**WHAT WE NEED FROM OUR **TEAM LEADERS****:

- MHE trained and can operate the necessary range of MHE/FLT equipment used on the shop floor
- Excellent communicator to team members of all levels and backgrounds ensuring the team understand expected KPIs and behaviours.
- Excellent attention to detail and evidence of checking accuracy of team outputs
- Able to lead by example and ensure team members work respectfully and in line with company values
- Experience of managing large teams from multicultural backgrounds and diverse experience.
- Resource planning experience.
- Understanding of Six Sigma.
- Able to problem solve and implement solutions at team level
- It would be beneficial if you have experience in working with heights
