**The Company**
Ambler Group are seeking to expand their team with onboarding an Assistant Surveyor/ Trainee Surveyor. Ambler Group is a leading surveying company based in Horsham, West Sussex. We specialize in a wide range of survey types including Utility, GPR, Topographical, and CCTV surveys. Working across various sites such as, MOD facilities, airports, schools, local council projects and national highways, we are seeking to onboard a team member who can be a valuable member of our on-site team.

**The Role**
The role is a full-time, on-site assistant surveyor, helping our senior surveyors complete surveys where required. Day to Day duties may include, but are not limited to, recording data manually, using EML equipment to record data, assisting with manual handling duties, assisting the senior surveyors in conducting various types of surveys. We work nationally meaning, travel and stay aways are required. A company Van, and fuel card will be supplied.

Stay aways food costs and hotel stays are covered by us, and also come with an uplift in pay whilst on stay aways.

- Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to work affectively alone and in a team
- Comfortable working away from home
- A people person

**Essentials**:

- Full UK Driving License
- Commutable to Horsham West Sussex
- Excellent organisation skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to a fast pace environment with strong technologies skills involved

Basic Understanding of AutoCAD/ Previous construction background with CSCS card/ Knowledge of using EML surveying equipment/ Knowledge of surveying techniques and processes.

The salary range for this role is listed at £20,000 - £26,000.
