Installation Supervisor

A world-leading, pharmaceutical manufacturer is looking for an experienced Piping Installation Supervisor to join their team, on a permanent basis. The Piping Installation Supervisor will be responsible for the supervision and operation of contractors and the company’s installation group systems and administration.

Other key responsibilities include:

- Comply with all SHE requirements including safety policies and procedures
- Conduct Safety audits
- As a SAP user the job holder will be required to carry out assigned SAP transactions in an accurate and timely manner
- Introduce, explain to and instruct contractors on induction procedures and requirements for working on site
- Advise Project Engineers on practical aspects of design proposals, labour cost estimates, methods of installation and prepare material take-off lists for piping, valves and ancillaries
- Organise the procurement of materials and implementation of work request from plant departments
- Obtain quotations for contract works and write requisitions for their implementation

Applicants will be required to have prior experience as a supervisor in maintenance and/or construction in comparable manufacturing facilities. You will also be required to be competent with IT systems, and in particular Microsoft Office including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
