**Who are we looking for?**
We are in search of a reliable Cleaner at our Totton College.
**Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:
Clean designated areas using a variety of products and machinery (cloths, detergents, vacuum cleaner, etc) to provide a clean and healthy environment.
Ensure consumables (e.g., soap, toilet paper) are provided in the appropriate places and that further stock is ordered when necessary.
Collect rubbish from the bins and take to the appropriate refuse / recycling area.
Perform duties in a timely and efficient manner to ensure the designated area is available when needed.
Maintain a general awareness of the facility, reporting any perceived defects, damage, risks or faults (e.g., faulty lights, heaters, windows, etc.) to the appropriate person.
The hours of work will be across split shifts - 6.30 - 8.30 am and 4.00-6.00pm. Hours of work will change during half terms and holidays to accommodate the changes in the academic year.
A DBS check will be required for this role.
Previous cleaning experience would be useful however training can be given.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £19,256.00 per year
