**The Hours**:8.30am - 11am, Saturday and Sunday

**The Salary**: £9.92 per hour

**Duration**:fixed term until September

The line manager for this role is the Welcome Manager who is based at EastRiddlesden full time and you would be part of this team who ensure we have high standards for visitor areas. The main duties of the role would be to clean and tidy our visitor facilities, which had a refurbishment last year and really are a delight to clean.Thereare often other opportunities to work cross department once in role within our shop, tearoom and wedding bar for those looking for more hours and capable. What you'll be doing As the Facilities Assistant, you'll assist with the day to day cleanliness and presentation the National Trust’s buildings and outdoor spaces. The role will be to clean, maintain our visitor toilets, empty bins, clean the shop, check around the site forrubbish plus much more. You’ll turn your practical hand to all sorts of cleaning and minor maintenance ensuring all our facilities are kept in good working order. You'll also be asked to help with some manual work such as unloading deliveries.

Duties such as cleaning, sweeping and litter picking will form a core part of the role, both inside and outdoors. You’ll ensure the highest standards of customer service across the area by always implementing a ‘customer comes first’ attitude. General maintenancework and helping within other teams will also form part of your role.
