The Convent at Warning Tongue Lane is part of a religious community of Sisters of Mercy, part of the Institute of Our Lady of Mercy.

We are looking for a caring and kind Senior Care Assistant to join our varied and unique setting. You will take responsibility for the daily organisation of care delivery and staffing. You will act as a positive role model by forming and maintaining open and constructive relationships. You will also deliver person centered care in the Convent and ensure that a compassionate and quality service is provided to our Sisters, enabling them to remain as independent as possible, ensuring their dignity is respected and assist them to remain an active part of the community.

**Senior Care Assistant (35 hours) £12.10 p/h (weekday)**

**Covering a 7 day rota £16.13 p/h (weekend)**

**You will have**:

- Minimum NVQ level 3 in Health & Social Care or be prepared to work towards it
- Experience of delivering personalised care for older people some with dementia
- Previous experience of leading a team; inducting, mentoring & supervising staff
- Willingness to work above and beyond to maintain our high standards
- Experience of working within a care environment for older people

All staff employed to provide direct care are required to have undertaken an Enhanced DBS check together with an Adult Barred list check.
