We are currently looking for a committed SEN Teaching Assistant for a school set in beautiful surroundings south of the Godalming area. The students in the school are diagnosed with Autism, they are aged between 5-19 and attend either primary school, secondary school or college.
**Your duties and benefits whilst working**:

- You will engage with students in class and support them in their learning either in smaller groups of students or 1:1.
- You will encourage the students to do their best and achieve to their fullest potential.

- You will be working 39 weeks per year and have all half terms and holidays off.
- You will access training and safeguarding courses prior to starting.
- You will have experienced consultants with SEN backgrounds to help and support you in your employment.- You must be able to work Monday-Friday from 8.30-15.30.
- Own means of transport is desirable.
- Literacy and Numeracy skills, to a minimum of GCSE pass level as you will support students in their learning.
- Common sense as you will need to work in a team and dynamically risk assess challenging situations to keep yourself and others safe.
- Communication skills as you need to be able to communicate effectively with children, families, and professionals.
- Patience as you will need to remain calm when faced with student’s behavioursJob Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Temporary contract, Temp to perm

**Salary**: £13,498.00-£17,427.00 per year

- Day shift
