We are an award-winning wine bar and restaurant business with a unique venue in Gatwick Airport. This 50 cover island bar is the world's first English Sparkling Wine bar, where we have 10-15 English Sparkling wines available, most of which served by the glass, to showcase the amazing quality, range and winemaking skill in this country. In addition, we have a short (12 drink) elevated cocktail list put together by Max, Noel and Rosie from the current and recurring Top 50 best bar Three Sheets in Dalston and a menu of light food available all day from breakfast though to dinner

A Vagabond Bar Staff hasn’t just seen Tom Cruise in Cocktail, they’ve got the Hawaiian shirt and dodgy slacks as well. These team members are always on hand to guide our guests to the perfect drink, a drink they didn’t even know they wanted or needed. The bartending team are the motivators who ensure everyone near them is having the best time of their lives

Our guests overall experience is in your hands and as such we are looking for a Bar Team member who has:

- Strong interpersonal skills and able to build relationships across the business
- Highly organised. Uses initiative and a methodical approach to getting things done in a fast-paced environment
- Knows the drinks trade inside out, upside down, left to right, your mates cousins mates sisters friend you get the pic
- Resilient, optimistic, and positively embraces change
- Takes guest service to the next level, in fact all the levels
- Continually looks at ways to learn for self and team
- Not afraid to have a difficult conversation when required
- Able to challenge the status quo as required to get things done
- Can judo chop some wood in half (not essential but we will need a demonstration)

You will need to be highly social, up-beat and friendly

Airport experience is ideal, but not essential...

English Wine knowledge a big bonus and a solid cocktail background essential.

Any relevant qualifications such as WSET are advantageous.
