We’re on the looking for a passionate and guest-focused Waiter to become a valued part of our outstanding Straits Kitchen Restaurant & Bar team at Pan Pacific London.

**JOB SUMMARY**

As a Waiter in our Straits Kitchen Restaurant & Bar, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional, personalised experiences for every guest. You will be a true ambassador of Pan Pacific London, ensuring every interaction reflects our commitment to excellence. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Follow restaurants’ standards, policies and procedures with other team members.
- Maintain complete knowledge of:
a) All food items, liquor brands, beers and non-alcoholic selections available in the restaurant.

b) Every wine/champagne by the glass and major wines on the wine list.

c) Designated glassware and garnishes for drinks.

d) All menu items, preparation method/time, ingredients, sauces, portion sizes, garnishes, presentation and prices.

e) Daily menu specials and out-of-stock items.

f) Dining room layout, table/seat/station numbers, proper table set-ups, room capacity, hours of operation, price range and dress code.

g) Daily house count, arrivals/departures, and V.I.P.s reservations
- Be aware of in-house group activities, locations and times.
- Correct maintenance and use of equipment.
- All department policies/service procedures.
- Assist in greeting and escorting guests to their tables according to departmental procedures, when needed. Ensure that tables are set to best service the guests.
- Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and at whatever time of day. Promote positive guest relations at all times.
- Take and record restaurant reservations/cancellations by departmental standards, when no Host/ess or superior is available to do it.
