Cake Baker

**We are looking for an experienced Baker & Decorator with excellent Front of House skills to take on a full-time maternity cover role in our well-loved Bakery.**

**You must have excellent people and communication skills and be comfortable with describing and selling products and working with our valued clients to design and quote for bespoke cakes.**

**A team player who has an exemplary work ethic, you will be creative, flexibly-minded and able to problem-solve in a fast-paced work environment. You must be organised and efficient.**

**A degree of computer literacy is essential as you will need to be able to use our in-house systems for organising and printing orders, sending new order forms through and creating contracts for clients. Full training on this will be provided.**

**Duties include but are not limited to**:

- Baking a variety of cakes to our exact recipes and techniques**
**- Making macarons in a variety of flavours to our specifications**
**- Making fillings, buttercreams and ganaches**
**- Stacking, filling, covering and decorating cakes using buttercream, ganache and fondant**
**- Making cookies, tarts, financiers, choux pastry, and other types of baked goods for our counter**

We will provide full training for the production of these products, but proficiency and experience in making cakes is essential.

Contract length: 9 months

Pay: £27,300.00-£29,250.00 per year
