**Head of Global Payroll** **Location - remote working but a requirement to attend the London Office once a week** **Salary - up to £85,000 per annum dependant on experience** This is a great opportunity for an experienced Senior Payroll professional to join this highly successful global organisation. Reporting to the Group Finance Director, as Head of Global Payroll, you will have responsibility for payroll as a Group function, you will ensurethatallpayrollsarecompleted onatimely,complete,andaccuratebasis. You will also beresponsiblefor managing anddeveloping a small team of global leads & analysts and managing the outsourced payroll provider. - **Key responsibilities will include**: - Overall responsibility for the seamless and effective operation of the global payroll process. This includes ensuring 3000+ colleagues are paid on a timely, accurate and complete basis and all relevant payroll taxes / deductions are collected and paid overon the same basis to the relevant authorities - Effectively manage the performance and relationship with our outsourced global payroll provider - Ensure seamless process is in place to transition payroll from acquisitions in a standard and efficient way - Lead, develop and motivate a core insourced team and ensure they have the correct skills to perform their roles effectively - Ensure effective systems, procedures and a fit for purpose internal control matrix is in place to ensure the completeness, accuracy and timeliness of payroll processing - Implement and manage end to end payroll process KPIs and foster a culture of continuous improvement to drive improved efficiency and the provision of a quality service - Ensure that relevant statutory and legal obligations applicable to payroll and pension matters are complied with along with all internal and external deadlines for payroll - Responsibility for the relevant payroll related balance sheet accounts and for ensuring any risk is highlighted - Work with HR to improve the efficiency and quality of the end to end "Hire to Retire" process - Ensure the team responds to queries in a timely and effective manner and to seek to resolve and help - **To be successful as Global Head of Payroll, you will demonstrate the following skills & experience**: - Expert payroll process and technical knowledge, with solid experience of running international outsourced payrolls and generating efficiencies - At least 10 years payroll experience, with at least the last 3 in a leadership / senior management role - Be able to inspire, develop and motivate and be able to lead the payroll function globally - An effective problem solver with a "can do" attitude - Stakeholder management - Manage the key relationships internally with Finance and HR and externally with the payroll provider.
