We are looking for someone like you to join our team as a **Sewer / Garment Repairer / Stitcher / Sewing Machine Operator **team in **Doncaster, DN3 3FB**.

**Pay rates**: £11.58 - £13.89 (dependent on shift)

**Shifts available and pay rate**:

- Sunday to Thursday AM & PM Shift which rotates between 06:00 until 14:00 one week and 14:00 until 22:00 the following week, paid at £11.58 per hour.
- Sunday to Thursday Night Shift 22:00 until 06:00, paid at £13.89 per hour.
- Tuesday to Saturday AM & PM Shift which rotates between 06:00 until 14:00 one week and 14:00 until 22:00 the following week, paid at £11.58 per hour.
- Tuesday to Saturday Night Shift 22:00 until 06:00, paid at £13.89 per hour.
- Friday to Monday AM & PM Shift which rotates between 06:00 until 14:00 one week and 14:00 until 22:00 the following week, paid at £11.58 per hour, with an extra £20 attendance bonus.
- Friday to Monday Night Shift - 22:00 until 06:00, paid at £13.89 per hour.

**What you will do on a typical day as a Sewer / Garment Repairer / Stitcher / Sewing Machine Operator**:

- Assess and repair damaged garments, ensuring they meet the quality standards for resale.
- Use a variety of sewing techniques including stitching, patching, hemming, and adjusting.
- Operate industrial and handheld sewing machines, along with manual tools.
- Ensure repairs are completed efficiently and in line with brand quality guidelines.
- Collaborate with the quality control team to prioritise garment repairs based on urgency and retail demand.
- Maintain a clean and organised workstation to ensure safety and productivity.
- Inspect and evaluate incoming garments for repair needs and suggest appropriate methods of repair.

**Requirements**:

- Experience in garment repair, stitching, or alterations preferred.
- Ability to work with a variety of fabrics, including delicate and high-end materials.
- Experience with sewing machines, overlockers, and other relevant equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to meet production targets and manage time effectively.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing tasks and priorities.

**CRITERIA**:

- You must be over the age of 18
- You must be able to get to site (DN3 3FB) for the shift timings listed above
- You must be able to stand for duration of your shift
- There is occasional heavy lifting - you must be able to move weights up to 10 / 15kg
- You must be able to prove your eligibility to work (present original copies of your ID)
- Mandatory 5 consecutive days of paid training - full attendance required to complete.
